Overview

The Korean Language Education Scholarship Foundation provides financial support to outstanding students and teachers who are passionate about advancing Korean language education. Our scholarships recognize and encourage excellence in this field.

Eligibility Criteria

• Outstanding Students :

  • Enrolled in a Korean language program or institution.

  • Residing in the U.S. for over five years.

  • Currently in grades 9 through 11.

• Outstanding Teachers:

  • Currently teaching at a Korean school in the U.S.

  • Minimum of 10 years of teaching experience.

  • No awards received in the past five years.

Application Process

1. Please complete and submit the scholarship application form.

2. Please submit the following documents:

• Application Form

• Letter of Recommendation

• Personal Statement

• Essay (Choose one of the following topics)

  → A special memory about Korea
  → If you could travel, where would you go, with whom, and what would you do?
  → What I am most interested in

  Please submit all documents by June 30, 2026,
